The Church of Uganda is governed by the Provincial Assembly. Meeting every two years, it is comprised of the House of Bishops, the House of Clergy, and the House of Laity. In between meetings of the Provincial Assembly, the Provincial Assembly Standing Committee meets and carries out the ongoing work of governance for the Church of Uganda.
