This includes creating space to promote counseling and testing, providing test kits, facilitating health workers for outreach services among others.

Treatment of opportunistic Infections and other common illnesses.
To minimize the effect of HIV/AIDS to the clients through frequent opportunistic infections, medicines such as Cotrimoxazole, septrine………. are provided.
Home Based Care and Support
This is intended to facilitate access to services that would otherwise be hindered by both geographical and physical mobility .Uganda’s ministry of Health developed with input from IRCU, a policy guideline for HBC that guides all faith based sites, including those supported by IRCU to ensure comprehensive HBC services.
TB/HIV Integration
Comprehensive HIV/AIDS treatment requires urgent attention to TB screening, diagnosis and treatment. IRCU facilitates TB management through direct funding, capacity development and referrals.
ART SERVICES Adherence monitoring is continuously done by community counseling aides, adherence officers and religious leaders where applicable to ensure treatment is on course. This is done during home visits for bed ridden clients.

PMTCT
HIV counseling and testing for PMTCT is emphasized for antenatal women later leading to couple HIV counseling and testing. Using faith based structures, those negative are encouraged to be faithful, the discordant to have safe sex and the positives are enrolled to the PMTCT program and where necessary referred for care.
All facilities use combination therapy (AZT/3TC and NVP) for PMTCT as recommended by the Ministry of Health.
