IRCU Secretary General, Joshua Kitakule Named Global Peace Corps Signatory at the Global Peace Convention – Manilla, Philippines

 We are delighted to announce that Joshua Kitakule, the Secretary General of IRCU, has been recognized as one of the distinguished signatories of the Global Peace Corps. This significant announcement took place at the Global Peace Convention in Manila, Philippines from December 10 to 15, 2023.

Under the coordination of Amb. Kambula Milton, President of Global Peace Foundation Uganda, this gathering not only reaffirms IRCU’s dedication to global peace and sustainable development but also enhances IRCU’s capabilities in addressing Africa’s conflict challenges.

The convention, attended by over 2,000 delegates, served as a dynamic hub of ideas and strategies, featuring the insights of Religious Leaders, global leaders, Experts, Policymakers and civil society representatives.

A key highlight of this convention was the launch of the Global Peace Corps, a worldwide youth movement committed to addressing crucial global issues such as youth empowerment, peace, and sustainable environmental protection.
